Practice makes perfect!

I would like to take the time to thank our 5th grade students! They did a wonderful job at the Christmas Concert Thursday night. I am very proud of the hardwork the class put into learning the songs, and playing their recorders! It was a beautiful show, and really put everyone in the Christmas spirit!

Coney's Play Date.

Over Thanksgiving break Coney was very busy. He had a play date with his friend Dexter. Dexter is much younger than Coney, and has much more energy. By the end of the day Coney was exhausted! But they had a great time. Can you tell which one is Coney?

A Long Ride.

Camp Tamarack!

Our Field Trip to Camp Tamarack was amazing! The class and I had a wonderful day full of animals, nature and pioneer life! The first part of the day the students and I attended the, "Living Science," lesson. During this we were able to hold and touch various animals. Next, we went on the T'Amazing Race. During this exercise students had to work in teams to complete a race. It was really fun to watch their archery and problem solving skills. The last part of the day we went to Smokelerville. In this village from the 1800's the students reenacted pioneer families. The parents did a wonderful job role playing parts of the townspeople. We had everything from an Indian to a fur trapper! Overall, the 5th graders had a great time! Thanks again to everyone who helped out!
